Project description

In order to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere, ‘Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development’ including its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 169 targets was adopted on 25 September 2015 by Heads of State and Government at a special UN summit.

Based on the goals of United Nation, to build a better future the challenge has taken on the Sustainable Development Goals driven by United Nations in all its activities and communications. The collaboration with United Nations consisted in proposing a visionary experience center project that helps to connect public with a global story of positive change, tailored and delivered to local circumstances, empowering people of all ages and abilities to contribute to this story of change.

The challenge: SDG 16 Peace, Justice And Strong Institutions

Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels

Conflict, insecurity, weak institutions and limited access to justice remain a great threat to sustainable development. Millions of people have been deprived of their security, human rights and access to justice. In 2018, the number of people fleeing war, persecution and conflict exceeded 70 million, the highest level recorded by UNHCR in almost 70 years. The COVID-19 pandemic is potentially leading to an increase in social unrest and violence that would greatly undermine our ability to meet the targets of SDG 16.

Importance Of Human Right

  • Human rights protect people against abuse by those who are more powerful.

  • Human rights allow people to stand up to societal corruption

  • Give people the freedom to choose how they live, how they express themselves, and what kind of government they want to support, among many other things.

  • Give people access to education

  • Guarantee people in basic needs such as food, housing
